Square Set Jamb & Pre-Cut Jamb

Square Set Jamb

Our square set jambs are different than what is currently used in today’s market.

Our square set jambs are pre-cut to fit a 13mm plaster stopping bead to finish the plaster off. We also fit a metal frame allowing for a stronger and straighter square edge line. By fitting the metal frame, it allows the installer to fit the jamb quicker, ultimately producing that dead straight and plum external line.

We have eliminated the unsightly 32mm door stop and designed our square set jambs with a single rebate. Each face of the jamb is smooth and looks as if it is part of the wall. We have set the ex-angle with a 4mm quirk from the face of the jamb stopping potential damages to the square edge.

 Pre-Cut Jamb

The pre-cut jamb is your standard jamb system that is used in today’s market. The difference with our pre-cut jamb, it is as it’s called, “Pre-Cut”. Styles are cut to length to suit carpet, head is routed out for both styles and stops are cut to length. All you have to do is nail it together.

“We do not use others jambs and cut them to length”.

We make our own jambs. Our jambs are made 112mm wide so the architrave sits flat with the wall.  Using the 112mm wide jamb allows for bowed jamb studs, plaster stop or plaster glue on jamb stud; unlike the tapered jamb where the architrave will kick out on one side of the jamb.
